Mastiffs to Mutts Non Profit Animal Rescue

DID YOU KNOW... that black dogs are the last to be adopted and the first to be put to sleep in shelters. Yet some of the best breeds are black and are so incredibly gentle, loving with the best temperaments. They usually are breeds that are excellent with children and other pets, including cats. Please do not overlook these very special dogs just because they are black dogs!
Donations are desperately needed for the 9 Mastiffs that have come into our rescue from a hoarder. These Mastiffs are very sweet, but know very little about being a loved member of a family. Even something as simple as a leash is a major ordeal for all of them. Prior to the first vet visit, they were full of fleas, worms and had open skin infections. All of this is being worked on now. It looks like one of the males will need X-rays on his hips, several are affected with entropian and we now need to heartworm test and start spays and neuters (when healthy enough). Foster homes are desperately needed! Please make a Christmas miracle come through for these Mastiffs by fostering and showing them what a loving home and family is all about. They will need time and a chance to get through all their medical needs before being ready for adoption. Please donate to these Mastiffs if you can. Any amount will help. Either donate through the website or a donation can be sent directly to our vet's office at: Mountain View Vet Services

******Please do not call the vet clinic to ask about the mastiffs as they are very busy! The number is here to call if you would like to make a donation and they have been so kind to us by letting us do this. If you would like updated info regarding the mastiffs, please feel free to contact Peg directly at mastiffstomutts@gmail.com and she will get back with you as soon as possible. Thank you!********
